Airport workers call for $15-an-hour minimum wage

Building on efforts by fast food workers and others to demand higher pay, workers at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport called on the Metropolitan Airports Commission to institute a minimum wage of $15 an hour.

Community march calls on Walmart and McDonald’s to raise wages immediately

On April 9, one day before the Minnesota House followed the Senate and passed a raise in the state minimum wage, marchers rallied in Sartell to hold corporations like Walmart and McDonald’s to higher standards of pay and conditions for the minimum wage workers at their stores.
