"Health care -- get it right. Get it in writing!" is the theme of a rally Tuesday, March 28, at 12:30 p.m. at the state Capitol.
The goal of the event is to pressure lawmakers to pass legislation for a state constitutional amendment making health care a right for all Minnesotans. The rally is sponsored by the Minnesota Nurses Association as part of its Day on the Hill.
Speakers will include state Senator Linda Berglin, DFL-Minneapolis, sponsor of the health care amendment legislation, and Sue Eichstadt, who walked 154 miles from Windom to St. Paul to raise awareness about the plight of the uninsured.
