The National Labor Relations Board, in a 3-0 decision, has found Dakota Premium Foods guilty of violating federal labor law.
In a case that strongly upholds union rights, the full Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a lower court panel and ruled that unions – in union shops or agency shops – can charge non-members for organizing costs.
Faced with a flight attendants’ campaign for training against terrorists, Northwest Airlines agreed with Teamsters Local 2000 to create a joint self-defense training program, the union reported.
