The International Red Cross is coordinating donations to aid the millions of victims in areas of Asia devastated by the tsunami. To donate, go to www.redcross.org and click on the "International Response Fund."

American Red Cross officials said they are working with their counterparts in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Somalia and elsewhere to direct the aid where it is needed most. A top priority is restoring safe drinking water, the organization said.

The Red Cross is taking monetary donations and cannot accept donations of blankets, food, etc., at this time.
