Film: ‘Maid in America’ shows life of immigrants

Maid in America

is the next film in the Labor & Community Film Series sponsored by the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service. In English with Spanish subtitles, it will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Resource Center of the Americas, 3019 Minnehaha Ave. S., Minneapolis.

Maid in America is an intimate look into the lives of three Latina immigrants working as nannies and housekeepers in Los Angeles. These personal portrayals provide insight into the immigrant experience.
