The Untold Stories series commemorating labor history month concludes with Stone Carving: Minnesota and Beyond,
The event will be held Monday, May 22, at 7 p.m. at the St. Paul Labor Centre, 411 Main St., and gives the opportunity to meet carvers from around the world.
It also features a short video documentary by Randy Croce of the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service on the carvers of Barre, Vt., and local historian Dave Riehle retelling the battle between Minnesota unions and famed architect Cass Gilbert over construction of the state Capitol.
