The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. in Room 202 of Coffman Union on the East Bank of the university\'s Minneapolis campus. It will be followed by a discussion facilitated by Deborah Rosenstein of the university\'s Labor Education Service.
The screening is free and open to the public and free food will be provided. It is sponsored by the Women\'s Student Activist Collective.
"Maid in America" is an intimate look into the lives of three Latina immigrants who clean other people\'s homes and raise other families\' children - while often leaving their own families behind. The film was directed by Anayansi Prado and produced by Kevin Leadingham.
