Winners could receive $30 in grocery gift certificates or $100 worth of meat.

Shoppers at each store will receive a flyer thanking them for patronizing a grocery store that pays family wages and benefits and also will get a ticket for a drawing at that store.

Local 653 president Ray Sawicky explained that the promotional campaign is part of an effort “to hold market share for our union grocers.”
