The event, which is free and open to all, runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Sheet Metal Workers Local 10 hall, 1681 Cope Ave., Maplewood.

In addition to the appearance by Dayton, the event will feature food, music, games, hourly raffles and a silent auction. The Minnesota State Retiree Council, AFL-CIO represents more than 200 union retiree groups dedicated to retiree activism. Proceeds will be dedicated to the council’s work in 2012.
