Labor leaders join march on Minneapolis banks

Speakers included Bernadine Engeldorf, first vice president of the Minnesota Nurses Association; Javier Morillo-Alicea, president of Service Employees International Union Local 26; Eliot Seide, executive director of AFSCME Council 5; and Michelle Sommers, president of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1005.

Several hundred people marched through downtown Minneapolis, chanting “We are the 99%” and demanding the banks taken action to stop home foreclosures.
