Labor Management Council to focus on resources for jobless workers

The program will be Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Ramsey County Plato Conference Center, 90 W. Plato Blvd., St. Paul, starting with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the program from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Speakers will include representatives of Ramsey County Human Resources and the Minnesota Teamsters Service Bureau-Dislocated Worker Program. They will discuss options and resources available for employers and union officials to assist laid-off employees and union members. Options and resources include information and assistance on breaking the news to family members, coping with emotions, making ends meet and finding the next job.

Cost of the luncheon and program is $25 for Labor Management Council members, $45 for non-members. Registration is required; call 612-676-3725.
