Make your voice heard in the political process

The caucuses are organized by the political parties and are open to people who support the party\’s positions and candidates. Turnout is expected to be high this year because of the number of candidates vying for both the Democratic and Republican presidential endorsements.

Caucus participants will be able to indicate their choice for president and to begin the process of choosing the parties\’ nominees for the state Legislature, U.S. House of Representatives and one U.S. Senate seat.

Minnesota is one of 22 states conducting either a caucus or primary on Feb. 5.

Never been to a caucus? The parties say they expect to welcome lots of newcomers this year. To find out your caucus location, visit the website of the Minnesota Secretary of State.
