Neighborhood House, which held formal ground?breaking ceremonies Sept. 26 for the new Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center for Community Building, is holding one-hour ?house warming? sessions to explain the agency?s work and how the Wellstone Center will expand its ability to serve the community.
The sessions take place at these times and locations:
? Oct. 14, noon-1 p.m., Baker Community Center Annex, 690 Waseca St.
? Oct. 19, 8-9 a.m. Mac-Groveland Family Center, 2390 W. 7th St.

Also, Glen Johnson, business manager for Operating Engineers Local 49 and a board member at Neighborhood House, continues to collect donations to name a room in the Wellstone Center in honor of the labor movement. Johnson has raised about $10,000 of the $25,000 goal. For information, contact him at 612-788-9441.
