Postal Workers from Burned S. Minneapolis Station Rally in Solidarity with #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd

Members of American Postal Workers Local 125, American Postal Workers St. Paul Local, and National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 9 (Minneapolis local) held a press conference on Sunday, June 7th outside of a burned S. Minneapolis postal station. The press conference was followed by solidarity march to 38th and Chicago (site of George Floyd’s murder).

Filiberto Nolasco Gomez is a former union organizer and former editor of Minneapolis based Workday Minnesota, the first online labor news publication in the state. Filiberto focused on longform and investigative journalism. He has covered topics including prison labor, labor trafficking, and union fights in the Twin Cities.
