Unions will hold a protest Thursday, Oct. 9, at 5 p.m. to protest the decision by Marathon Oil to hire an out-of-state contractor, Starcon, Inc. Building Trades unions say the decision will cost about 100 Minnesota jobs.

The protest will take place at Veteran Park in St. Paul Park. It is located behind Carbone's Pizza. Take I-94 East to Hwy 61 South, take a right on 70th Street heading west till Broadway turn right on Broadway till you hit 3rd Street on the corner of 3rd and Broadway.
