Rochester residents speak out about state shutdown

“There will be people who are going to die in Olmstead County with government shutdowns because services that are live-sustaining and life-supporting will not be delivered,” said April Sutor of the United Way.

Businesses also will close as a result of a government shutdown, residents said. They called on legislators “to get the job done” to approve a state budget and avoid a state government shutdown July 1.
