APWU was notified last month by the district manager of the United States Postal Service that “for sale” signs would be placed at these four locations. The union fears possible negative impacts to citizens and small businesses served by the current locations.
APWU urges people who live or work in each of the four communities to contact their mayor, city council, U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives to ask that they help preserve the community post offices.
