Town hall meetings offer chance to share your views

“This is your chance to make your voice heard, to demand a budget solution that protects working families and to build a relationship with your legislator,” the Minnesota Nurses Association said in announcing several upcoming meetings.

MNA and other labor organizations are demanding a solution to the state’s $5 billion budget deficit that preserves jobs and public services while raising revenue fairly. Only a few weeks remain in the 2011 legislative session.
