The effort, titled “Minnesota Wants to Work” is organized by Working America, the Minnesota AFL-CIO, Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation and St. Paul Regional Labor Federation. The coalition’s goal is to gather workers under one roof for the opportunity to access resources and take action in the name of job creation.
The Resource Fair and Forum run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Labor Center, 312 Central Ave. S.E., Minneapolis. Free lunch and parking will be provided; participants are asked to RSVP by calling 612-379-8133.
