AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler is making outreach to young workers a top priority of the union movement. The Summit follows a series of Young Worker Forums around the country earlier this year.
Workshops and other programs at the Summit reflect the input of young workers across the country who identified key issues facing their generation.
The Summit will provide the opportunity to meet other young workers who are fighting for social and economic justice in the nation and in the workplace. The Summit will share what’s happening around the country to engage young workers and discuss how to reach out to young workers to grow the union movement.
