Anoka-Hennepin Educators Rally for Safe Education Plan this Fall

On Monday, members of Anoka-Hennepin Education Minnesota called for safety and equity to be at the core of the Anoka-Hennepin School District’s Fall education plans. The union is also asking for more transparent communication around the plans now and moving forward.

The Anoka-Hennepin Teachers of Color Coalition, a self-organized collective of teachers of color across the district, recently sent a letter to district administration outlining their concerns for a safe return to school for the district’s students and educators of color, knowing COVID-19 disproportionately impacts communities of color

On the 25th the district released a note on hybrid learning and the mask policy.
