Blue-Green Alliance to host Duluth conference

The conference is Friday, Feb. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Wellstone Hall at the Duluth Labor Temple, 2002 London Road.

University of Minnesota-Duluth Professor John Pastor will speak about the impact global warming can have on our forests. Ken Bradley, senior policy associate at Fresh Energy, will address how renewable energy will help protect the environment and create jobs.

The event is sponsored by the Blue-Green Alliance of Minnesota, Fresh Energy, Sierra Club North Star Chapter and the United Steelworkers.
