Josh Wise

Wise is an experienced organizer who has worked as a staff member and consultant to many nonprofit and advocacy organizations, most recently leading the field program for MN Citizens for the Arts. He also directs the Twin Cities Labor Chorus.

“I’m excited to get right to work,” said Wise. “Current free trade policies and negotiations present a raw deal for workers, the environment, and our farmers. We need fair trade policy that reflects our shared values of equal opportunity to live a meaningful, comfortable life in a healthy environment.”

“Josh brings the experience and vision necessary to lead a thriving coalition,” said Steve Hunter, treasurer of the Minnesota Fair Trade Coalition. “He will be leading an aggressive campaign to ensure that workers, family farmers and our environment are not hung out to dry by trade policy that benefits only large corporations and CEOs.”
