Activities will include teach-ins and discussions. The week will culminate with a march and rally for trade justice on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the United Auto Workers Local 879 union hall in St. Paul.
“Join us in celebrating a decade of action and the continued struggle for global justice and fair trade,” said Alicia Ranney, coordinator of the Minnesota Fair Trade Coalition. One focus will be the TRADE Act, proposed legislation to reform trade agreements and introduce protections for workers, communities and the environment.

Join your fellow activists in an art building day for the Dec. 5 march and rally for trade justice. Gustavo Boada of the Heart of the Beast Theatre will teach the fine points of making puppets, masks and signs for social action.

Action: Petition Delivery to Cargill
Join the Rainforest Action Network in delivering letters to Cargill, urging them to act in a fair and ethical manner in their palm oil production to protect the world\'s rainforests.
When: Meet at 10 a.m. to carpool to Cargill headquarters in Wayzata.
Where: Bethany Lutheran Church (2511 Franklin Ave East, Minneapolis.
10 Years Post Seattle: Taking Stock & Moving Forward
Labor and community activists of all ages are invited to participate in this reflective discussion to assess where the global justice movement is at and where we\'re headed. People who were in Seattle, as well as those who have attended different types of large protests since are welcome. Video from Seattle will be shown.
When: 5– 7 p.m.

Join your fellow trade activists in marching to the UAW Local 879 hall where we will hold a rally for trade justice. We’ll have food, music, art, puppets, speakers and more. At the hall, you\'ll learn more about the movement for a fair global economy and ways you can take action.
11 a.m. Gathering at the East Parking lot of Minnehaha Falls Park, corner of Godfrey and 46th Ave.A shuttle will be available to take folks back to their cars after the rally.
