LivingCenter workers join union

Workers at Golden LivingCenter in St. Louis Park voted to choose SEIU Healthcare Minnesota as their collective bargaining agent.

The vote was 88 to 19 on March 10 in favor of joining the union, despite a management campaign to pressure workers to reject the union.

Golden LivingCenter St. Louis Park, 3201 Virginia Avenue South, is a skilled nursing facility operated by Golden LivingCenters, which runs more than 300 facilities in 21 states, including 26 in Minnesota. The new bargaining unit will include 145 workers.
