The Twin Cities march will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the United Labor Centre, 312 Central Ave. SE, and end with a 12:30 p.m. rally at the Hennepin County Government Center.
The march honors the 1991 campaign by janitors in Los Angeles. Police responded violently to a demonstration on June 15, ultimately creating a backlash of public support.
