The program will open with a networking breakfast, followed by a keynote speech by Shar Knutson, first female president of the Minnesota AFL-CIO. Knutson will also moderate a discussion with other union leaders about the role women currently play in the labor movement and how to increase women’s involvement in their unions. The morning will wrap with a skills session.
