Registration deadline for Women & Femmes Retreat extended

The deadline to register for the Minnesota Union Women & Femmes Retreat has been extended to Friday, March 31.

The Retreat, offered by the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service, focuses on growing and strengthening the skills needed for leadership in unions and workplaces. Participants will explore innovative ways to organize – internally and externally – to build power.

The Retreat runs from April 19 to 21 at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge and Conference Center in the Brainerd Lakes area. It is designed for working women and femmes, rank-and-file members, activists, staff and union officers. You do not need to be a union member to attend, but you should be interested in being active on workplace issues. More information is available here.
