The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Minnesota Nurses Association, 345 Randolph Ave., St. Paul.
Organizers plan “an “action-oriented discussion about resisting attacks on affordable health care, our pensions and social safety net, and how we can organize for power to make them better.”
The keynote speaker will be Robert Roach, Jr., president of the Association of Retired Americans and former general secretary-treasurer of the Machinists union.
The registration fee is $5 at the door, which includes lunch. Register online at www.aflcio.mn/retirees17.
