"5 Billion People, One Planet: Can We Coexist?" is the topic of the monthly St. Paul Labor Speakers Club program. Representatives of unions and environmental groups will discuss the future of labor and the environment.
The program will be held Monday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Paul Labor Centre, 411 Mahoney (aka Main) St. in downtown St. Paul. It is free and open to the public.
Speakers will be Ken Bradley, program director of Minnesotans for An Energy Efficient Economy and the Sierra Club's state chair; Christine Frank, IATSE Local 13 member and author of the labor history play, "Remembering Charlie Luth;" and David Foster, director of United Steel Workers of America District 11.
