Merideth Cleary, an associate member of the United Steelworkers Union, will report Monday, Feb. 27, on her experience as a delegate to the World Social Forum in Venezuela.
Her report starts at 7 p.m. at the Steelworkers District office, 2829 University Ave. SE, Minneapolis. It is free and open to the public. In addition to traveling to Caracas for the forum, Cleary also visited Colombia and will report about taking testimony from social leaders and victims of violence.
In addition to Cleary's remarks, a short documentary, "Testimonies from Venezuela and Colombia," will be shown.
