Actions by low-wage workers made headlines across the country Tuesday. In Minneapolis, hundreds marched from a northeast neighborhood McDonald’s to the Macy’s store on Nicollet Mall, then rallied at U.S. Bank and City Hall.

Their campaign is escalating demands for a $15 minimum wage, paid sick leave, fair scheduling practices and an end to wage theft.
