Welcome to the new version of Workday Minnesota, the website of news and resources on issues important to working people.
The site has undergone extensive re-programming and re-design, with the goals of providing more information and being more user-friendly. Our new features include the ability to showcase the many videos produced by the Labor Education Service, such as the programs on the recent march against the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal and the large rally held by strikers at Cretex Companies.
Other features include the ability to share stories through Facebook and other social media. In the near future, we'll be offering more newsfeeds from other websites that cover labor.
We plan to offer more in-depth content on the challenges facing workers and the labor movement, starting with coverage of the AFL-CIO's national convention in Los Angeles from Sept. 8-11. Watch for our reports on the debate taking place around worker organization, coalition-building and more.
Workday is a publication of the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service with the support of organized labor. Thank you, sponsors! Learn more about LES through our "Labor Education" section.
We'd like to hear your comments about the new Workday. Please contact us via our new online form.
