Entitled 'The Economics of ?Public Panic,'' the story was done by reporter Mark Zdechlik. It aired Jan. 16 but a transcript and audio version are available on the Minnesota Public Radio website.
"There's a lot of concern about the future; a lot of rumors about which plants are going to be closing," McKenzie says in the report.
'I've been associated with the dislocated worker program for more than 10 years and I have never seen the level of (layoff) activity that we're experiencing now before in Minnesota," Goldman says.
