Union officers and staff are encouraged to attend the workshop 'Dealing with Difficult People,' scheduled for June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the IBEW Local 110 hall, 1330 Conway St. The deadline to register is June 9.

The workshop is sponsored by the Minnesota AFL-CIO Community Services/Education Committee, in cooperation with the University of Minnesota's Labor Education Service. LES staffer Larry Casey will conduct the session, designed to examine behaviors that provoke tension and to develop strategies that reduce conflict and promote a better environment for workers.
